Reliable Appliance Repair was started by a small group of people with a vision: to create a different kind of service company that would truly be a collaboration between our technicians, support staff, and our customers to ensure the highest quality repairs while establishing a unique identity within the industry.

Thor F, Factory Authorized Lead Technician
I started fixing appliances in 2006 and have been a technician ever since. Before I became a tech, I was in the army for 9-1/2 years working on radars and communications equipment, so I have a ton of experience with repairing things. In my spare time, I enjoy anything related to the outdoors, especially camping, hiking and rafting. I am excited to be joining the Reliable team to continue the standard of excellence this company has set thus far!
Jake S, Factory Authorized Technician
I have 10 years of technical experience doing appliance repair, and I have been a lead tech at two previous appliance companies. All the factory training and hard work I put in on my own time have gotten me to where I am today. I love to learn new things and teach others what I have learned. I constantly take things apart just to put them back together so I understand how they work mechanically. I try to always provide excellent customer service and am very personable. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions while I am in your home (or contact me after your repair), as I love to keep my customers well informed.

I have been in the appliance service industry for 9 years. I started in the business in 2003 with appliance delivery, worked my way up to installs, and then tested into a training class to become a technician. After completing the training I quickly moved to the top of the Portland appliance tech market due to being a young, ambitious man who will do whatever it takes to get your appliance up and running again! I have a two year old son named Jackson and I am a dog lover, so if you have kids and / or dogs, rest assured I will put them at ease while I am in your home. I look forward to serving you!

I originally joined the appliance industry in the early 90s as a delivery driver. After strengthening my skills over the past 20 years, I became an installer of built-in appliances, and further advanced my skills into training to become the service technician I am today. I pride myself on being thorough, timely, professional and friendly. I am very family orientated and know the importance of properly working appliances, and the impacts on their families when not working properly. I will make every effort to get it done quickly and correctly and continue to give the customer satisfaction you come to expect from us at Reliable.
